Door Styles & Finishes

Four styles. Three versatile finishes.

A simple starting point for your cabinetry: four door constructions we're most often asked about, shown with three finish directions. Use it to narrow down a look before we talk specifics.

Compare door construction and finish direction side by side, then see how each profile reads across a full kitchen.

Door style 1 of 4

Shaker

A standard framed door with roughly 2.5-inch rails and stiles around a recessed flat center panel. The most versatile profile — it reads traditional or modern depending on finish and hardware.

Pick a finish direction — the door sample and the room visualization change together.

Ask us about current availability.

Door style 2 of 4

Slim Shaker

The same recessed-panel construction with narrow rails and stiles of roughly 1 inch. The tighter frame reads calmer and more contemporary across a long kitchen.

Pick a finish direction — the door sample and the room visualization change together.

Ask us about current availability.

Slab / Flat Panel

A smooth unframed face with no profile at all. Detail comes from the material, the grain direction, and the reveal between doors.

Raised Panel

A framed door with a visibly raised, sculpted center panel. The stepped profile casts a shadow line for a more traditional, detailed look.

Finishes

Three finish directions

Finish character changes how a door style reads. These three directions cover most of the kitchens we're asked to build.

  • White

A clean painted white that keeps a room bright and lets the door profile carry the detail.

  • Gray

A neutral painted gray — quieter than white, and forgiving across long runs of cabinetry.

  • Brown Stain

A warm brown stain that keeps the woodgrain visible, toned to the species and the room's light.

These are basic design directions only. Final samples, sheen, exact color, grain, construction, pricing, and availability must be confirmed with CQ.
